Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry is given a high priority by the congregation. Youth, grades 9-12, meet at least one Sunday a month from September through May.

Programs often include recreation, worship and celebration. A wide range of discussion topics are offered throughout the year utilizing media and community resource people.

Adult sponsors, along with Rev Richard Schmeling, are involved in the Sunday events. Weekend retreats, synod and national youth events, as well as other special social activities are held periodically.

Developing and promoting youth activities is an important part of our church. Here we will discuss what we are doing to assist in the growth of our youth.

The church offers several activities for our younger members. Some of the more popular activities are:

* Bible study
* Habitat for Humanity
* Basketball
* Sunday School
